Experiment 1: The Datum (Finalized)

The concept for the shared work-space
The sketch below represents the original idea of the structure of the building where the top section is for the the_kyza and the bottom is for Mountain & Moon. However, after much feedback, I further developed the design of the building and stairs. The building consists of spiral stairs where each stairs lead to a different level.

South Facing Elevation
The final model shown is the improvised version of the previous section sketch. The underground workshop for the_kyza is a spacious area that leads up to the ground level showroom which can be gone through a single spiral stair which is a Möbius strip which allows you to walk through the whole workshop and end at the starting point. The ground level showroom surrounded by a glass barrier to allow the usage of natural lighting to their advantage. The above ground workshop for Mountain & Moon is a space that allows individuals to walk around and it has a cut off point which promotes an airy space.
the_kyza Workshop Interiors
The image shown above is the workshop for the_kyza. The use of an overhang infinity stair is to allow individuals to walk through the whole space and return to the starting point. The use of glass panels allows the buyers to look at the different things that take place in the workshop while the final product is showcased on a textured panel, 'rapid' while the surrounding structured form is textured with 'isothermal'.

Mountain and Moon Workshop Interiors.

The image above shows the interior details for Mountain and Moon's Workshop. The central of the glass lattice can be a space where jewelry can be made. The use of the ramp which is textured in 'crystalline', can allow individuals to walk around and explore the space.
